These terms govern your use of Signal: Binaural Beats (the "App"), made by Amplification Institute Inc. ("we," "us," "Amplification Institute"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.
Signal generates binaural beats — audio tones intended to support meditation, focus, relaxation, and sleep. The App requires headphones to work as intended; binaural beats rely on each ear receiving a slightly different tone, which speakers cannot reproduce correctly.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the App on your own behalf. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the App only with the consent and active involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly permit use by anyone under that age.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Signal on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms.
Signal's core features — all four modes, at any session length — are free. Optional paid features are unlocked by a one-time purchase rather than a subscription: there is nothing that renews and nothing to cancel.
Any purchase offered in the App is billed and processed by Apple through the App Store, and pricing is governed by Apple's own terms. A purchase is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on devices signed in with that account. Refund requests should be made directly to Apple, as we do not have the ability to process refunds ourselves.
The App, including its design, audio engine, and content, is owned by Amplification Institute Inc. and protected by intellectual property law. These terms don't transfer any ownership to you — only the limited license described above.
The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular outcome for you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amplification Institute Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
